Curing Low Sex Drive In Women
Some of you out there may have wives or girlfriends that just don’t seem interested in sex anymore and would be interested in this information. Here are some possible reasons for loss of sex drive in women:
1. The pill. Many women who take the pill experience a loss of sex drive. Kind of ironic since the pill is mainly used to allow more sex by eliminating the possibility of pregnancy! If your partner is on the pill and is experiencing a low sex drive try a different form of birth control for a while and see if that improves the situation.
2. Anti-depressants. These medications work wonders for depression and other disorders but they can be sexual killers for many women. Higher doses of Zoloft or Prozac are the most common problem drugs. If Zoloft or Prozac is responsible for the loss of libido in your partner talk to the doctor about it. There are other medications that can be just as effective without the side effects.
3. Low testosterone. Of course women have less test than men but they do have some and it is responsible for sex drive just as for men. This is easy for a doctor to check out. For low testosterone there are easy ways to raise levels using prescription meds. Discuss it with a doctor.
The anti-depressant Wellbutrin can actually raise libido in women and men (unlike Zoloft) and has been used for this purpose. High doses of L-arginine may also be helpful for women as well as men.
